We asked Hannah & her mum to share some insight into what their relationship means to them this Mother's Day:
Question: Can you share the story of how Graham St. Fashion began?
Answer: "As a celebrity stylist I would spend hours in the shops and on the high street. I used to see so many incredibly stylish women over 40 out and about but hardly ever represented in the media or in brand imagery. With GS I wanted to provide style inspiration for women in their 40s and way beyond. By featuring myself and my mum - 30 years apart - the aim was to show how style should have little to do with age and everything to do with personal taste!"
Question: You spend so much time creating together - is there something you’ve learned about each other through working together that surprised you?
Answer: "It has been really lovely getting to know each other as collaborators and colleagues as well as mother and daughter. When we're working together we become peers."
Question: How do you navigate blending family life with a shared creative partnership?
Answer: "By me not being too bossy!"
Question: As you look back on what you’ve built, what feels uniquely special about doing it together - something that simply wouldn’t be the same on your own?
Answer: "It's much more fun when you do it together. We just laugh our way through the shoots."
Question: As we celebrate Mother’s Day, what does the mother–daughter bond mean to each of you - and how has that bond shaped who you are today?
Answer: "Mum is a rock. I have always felt completely safe with her and I think that is one of the greatest gifts that you can give a child. That, and a shared love of clothes!"
